Posted By The Dunnion Law Firm || 9-Jun-2009

Three people have moderate injuries after a two-car crash near Salinas and Elkhorn Roads in North Monterey County around 1:20 p.m. today, according to the California Highway Patrol.

20-year-old Watsonville man was driving southbound in a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo on Salinas Road, CHP officer Brian Wiest said, when he lost control while attempting to pass other vehicles.

Wiest said the driver spun out when he struck a Honda with an 18-year-old male driver and two passengers - all also from Watsonville.

The Chevrolet's driver was unhurt, Wiest said, but the other three people were taken to Watsonville Medical Center with moderate injuries for treatment.
