A 52 year old factory worker who had his motorcycle license suspended in May of 2010 for a DUI, was riding in rural Tulare County when two dogs darted out in front of him. He immediately applied the brakes of his 2008 Harley Ultra Classic and steered to his left. He was unable to avoid contact with one of the dogs resulting in his losing control and killing one of the dogs. He fell off to his right with the motorcycle digging into the pavement. It flipped end over end before coming to rest 100 feet down the road. He managed to get to his feet and called his wife via cell phone. Police and Fire Paramedics arrived moments later at the scene. The paramedics were adamant that the elderly rider needed treatment but he refused. His wife came and took him home and later to the doctor. He had suffered a fractured collar bone. Ultimately, when the medical bills came in he hired The Dunnion Law Firm as he had no idea of how the bills would be paid or who, if anyone, would fix his motorcycle. The Dunnion Law Firm engaged private investigators, hired medical experts and ultimately settled the claim for $300,000. He was extremely happy that he called The Dunnion Law Firm.
