A Visalia was riding her bike to the corner gas station to get air in her bike tire when a man pulled from a stop sign striking the woman causing her to have broken ribs and a collapsed lung.
The police officer wrote in the report that the bike rider was 100% at fault for riding the wrong direction in the street and talking on the cell phone. The car’s auto insurance also blamed the woman completely so she contacted The Dunnion Law Firm.
The Dunnion Law Firm advised the woman to be accountable and accept her contribution to causing the accident. The Dunnion Law Firm then fought with the insurance carrier and force them through litigation to acknowledge the driver of the car was equally responsible. The carrier agreed after months of litigation and 90 days before trial offering a fair comparative fault settlement.
