Dunnion Finds Doctors to Treat Uninsured Accident Victim

Dunnion’s client was a 64-year old truck driver who had been on disability for several years. Even at his age, however, he had always hoped to be able to return to work. Just prior to this auto accident he had achieved this goal. Taken off disability and back on the road! Within days, he was in the middle of a four car pile up and it appeared his dreams would once again be frustrated. He had lost his Medicare coverage and his new employer’s health policy had not kicked in. Dunnion was able to get him the treatment he needed by asking doctors to hold off collecting their fees until the case settled. When the case settled, Dunnion then negotiated with the doctors and ultimately managed to get all their bills paid and was also able to pay free and clear to the client twice what he had hoped for.
