A 46 year old woman was riding her bicycle on Elkhorn Road in Monterey County when the at fault driver failed to yield to her right of way while she was in the bicycle lane. The vehicle hit her from behind her so hard that she flew off her bike, over the man’s car and landed in the roadway. She had to crawl to the shoulder of the road to avoid being struck by other vehicles. She was then air lifted from the accident scene to a Bay area trauma center, where she was told she broke several vertebrae in her lower back.
Unfortunately, the at fault driver had inadequate insurance coverage to compensate the lady. The Dunnion Law firm immediately presented a claim to the at fault party’s insurance company and collected the driver’s $100,000.00 policy limits. We also successfully reduced her health insurance company’s lien by over 70%! The client is extremely satisfied with the representation she received from the members of the firm.
