Client’s husband, a fireman, was riding his motorcycle on his way home from the station when a pick up truck operated by an inexperienced driver turned left directly in front of him. Unfortunately, the motorcycle operator died from the injuries he sustained in the accident. To make this young recently married woman’s life worse, the insurance company blamed her husband for not having his motorcycle’s light on. The client contacted The Dunnion Law who hired an expert in motorcycle safety and proved the light was in fact on and that the accident was the sole fault of the left turning pick up. The insurance company immediately tendered its fully policy limits to settle the wrongful death claim.
