Dunnion Firm Protects Settlement Funds for Client

In August, 2010, there was a standard three car pile-up on Highway 17 in Los Gatos. Dunnion’s client was rear ended and the question became: did the first following car hit her before the second hit the first? With the insurance carriers for the two following cars arguing their cases, it appeared that Dunnion’s client might never be able to settle her claim. Unfortunately, however, her injuries progressed to the point where she needed surgery, and it looked like even if both following vehicles tendered their policies (totaling $100,000) the client would take nothing home since the medical bills were in excess of her share of the claim.
