Motorcycle rider killed over weekend on Hwy 25.
JUNE 20, 2009 - HOLLISTER, CA - A 28-year-old Salinas man died in a motorcycle accident Saturday south of Cienega Road on Highway 25, according to a press release from the California Highway Patrol.
The man, whose name has not been released by the CHP, was southbound on a 2008 Suzuki at about 5:45 p.m. just south of Cienega Road. He was traveling at a "high rate of speed" and drove off the road. The man was ejected from the motorcycle, according to the CHP.
Medical responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
