Motorcyclist Loses Leg in Crash – $1,100,000

A father of two was riding his motorcycle when a vehicle pulled out of a business parking lot directly into our client’s path. Unable to avoid the vehicle, the motorcyclist collided with the corner of the defendant’s vehicle.

The motorcyclist sustained a serious injury to his lower right leg. He had multiple surgeries to save the leg, but it was unsuccessful. His leg was amputated below the knee.

Dunnion Law obtained a judgment against the defendant in the amount of $1.1 million. There was $1 million in insurance available and collected. The judgment was also enforced against the defendants’ assets and an additional $60,000 was collected for the motorcyclist and his family.
