Couple Wins $600,000 After Reckless Accident

A man was driving with his wife on Highway 1 near San Luis Obispo when they were abruptly cut off by a truck traveling in the same direction. The driver swerved to avoid contact with the truck, lost control of his vehicle, and was forced off the highway.

The accident caused the driver to have serious closed-head injuries that led to seizures, personality changes, significant retrograde and anterograde amnesia, and other neurological symptoms, related to his injuries including a brain contusion and subarachnoid hemorrhage. His wife sustained a concussion, knee contusions and cervical injury. In addition to loss of consortium and requirements for future medical care, their vehicle was damaged.

After obtaining unsatisfactory legal representation elsewhere, the driver moved his case to Dunnion Law where he received the attention that he felt his previous attorney did not provide.
