Child in day care custody injured in bicycle accident – $770,000
When an 8-year-old boy was in custody of a daycare provider, they allowed him to ride a bicycle to a nearby park without a helmet. While riding the bike under supervision, the boy swerved left to avoid a parked vehicle, and instead hit a flatbed trailer that was hauling a cherry picker.
The boy suffered a skull fracture which required staples to close, a head wound, closed head injury, laceration above his left eye requiring stitches, and multiple abrasions.
In addition to helping set up annuity payments for ongoing insurance coverage for the boy, Dunnion Law recovered $770,000 for his ongoing medical care and treatment.
