JD, GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW After a global career practicing Public International Law, I have returned to my roots–both geographically and professionally–where I began my legal journey 30 years ago. Personal Injury Law holds a unique appeal because it allows me to achieve tangible results for individuals facing life-altering challenges. I know the best use of my advanced negotiation skills is on behalf of people who have suffered calamities–circumstances where meaningful action can make all the difference.
What I enjoy most about being an attorney is the opportunity to improve lives by overcoming obstacles. Each case presents a new challenge, and I thrive on the tactics and strategies required to consistently overdeliver for my clients. It’s a rewarding process, and the satisfaction of positively impacting someone’s life is the gift that keeps on giving.
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to achieve notable milestones. As a founder and CEO of an International people-power organization, I was proud to see our work recognized as “one of the finest in the world” by former President Jimmy Carter.
Our efforts to promote democracy and the rule of law were so impactful that they faced bans and persecution from dictatorships determined to suppress them. Despite these challenges, I remain committed to advocating for justice and empowering individuals.
My personal philosophy is simple: preparation has no substitutes, and there are no second chances for first impressions. This mindset drives me to approach each case with meticulous care and dedication.
Outside the office, I’m passionate about taking on perpetual challenges. Whether it’s hiking rugged trails, catching waves, or playing the alto saxophone, I approach each with enthusiasm and commitment. I’m also involved in my community, volunteering as a lifelong Hugger at the Special Olympics and dedicating my time to the local zoo.
Through my work and personal endeavors, I strive to make a meaningful impact–whether in the courtroom, in my community, or on life’s many adventurous paths.
